Tesla Annual shareholder Meeting 2019

Teslas annual shareholder meeting was recently held & Wall Street stock news was there to hear the latest from Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk and some of the Tesla team. 

Upon entering the shareholder meeting we were greeted by the new Tesla semi, Tesla roadster & the new model Y.

These were  many teslas on display including the first model S and an original Tesla roadster. 

The meeting had Elon Musk take the stage after the shareholder information was discussed. Elon presented new information on Tesla. Including the efficiency and sales of the vehicle lineup. 

Key takeaways from the meeting included:

 Teslas Chinese gigafactory is nearly complete and they are beginning to get the equipment to begin producing vehicles in China very soon. The speed of the buildings production in China has surprised many and will bring the costs of teslas into China by a significant amount. Without the costs of shipping the vehicles and the savings from tariffs on each vehicle produced in China.  

 The Tesla pickup truck will likely be unveiled at the end of the summer. The truck should be as functional as the f150 & handle like a Porsche 911. This truck will be unlike any other truck in the road. 

 It also felt that model Y may be ahead of schedule and that the car could be coming sooner than anticipated and announced earlier in the year. A sudden production of model Y months early could be extremely helpful to increase teslas sales. Once the model Y is available for sale Tesla sales could grow substantially as small suvs are some of the most popular vehicles in the United States and other areas of the world.
