Tesla 2019-2025
Tesla is building the future of transportation in front of our eyes. Elon Musk wrote Tesla's master plan a decade ago. Since its completed all of those goals. Elon Musk wrote Tesla's master plan part duex. In the new plan Musk envisions an Electric Semi & Electric Bus. He also notes of a smaller SUV and truck. Additionally he speaks of The Tesla Network. The future autonomous car service Musk will allow Tesla owners to opt into allowing their cars to make them money operating as an autonomous electric taxi service whenever they don't need the vehicle. What else is on Teslas horizon? These are just some of our speculations on what Tesla could bring to market in the near future.
2019: Tesla pairs with several larger retailers for supercharging systems (Walmart, Home Depot, Target, Costco); partnerships with dining franchises (Sonic, TGI Fridays, Starbucks)
2020: Elon Musk debuts the Model Y.
2020: Tesla network to launch; an autonomous ride experience that will change travel. Over time the ride experience will change and become more entertainment based for passengers.
2020: Tesla freight will be launched along with the Tesla network to move commercial cargo. This will put Tesla and its cheaper costs per mile in very strong competition to freight brokers and traditional trucking. This could give Tesla a path to becoming a serious competitor of FedEx & UPS.
2020: Elon Musk could unveil an electric passenger bus capable of 600+ mile range.
2021:With the Tesla network in place, Tesla will likely create a unique taxi/van for its autonomous ride service. The vehicle will be designed different for an autonomous experience inside. Additionally we expect it to be handicap accessible; this can give Tesla network an advantage over ride services that are not so handicap friendly.
2021: Tesla Model T & t (Two Tesla pickup truck models; Fullsize & Midsize truck)
2021: Expansion of Teslas solar program into solar siding and possibly solar windows.
2022: Tesla commercial truck division begins, building small box trucks & electric service vehicles similar to a sprinter van.
2023: Tesla could enter the machinery space building small electric construction equipment.
2024: Tesla could develop home heating/ air conditioning systems for homes.
2024: Tesla creates a line of smart electric appliances to complement a line of smart home products launched in 2021.
2025: Tesla launches an RV based off of its electric bus platform.
SpaceX:
2021-2025: Elon Musk could launch a worldwide 5G satellite network using SpaceX's technology. This could benefit Teslas Network & could give Musk a competitive advantage to Verizon & Att's networks.
