Tesla Semi Coming September 2017

Tesla now has three vehicles in production the model S, X & 3. Along with these three next generation vehicles Tesla is building the largest electric car charging station worldwide. To generate clean energy Tesla is beginning to produce solar roofs with battery storage systems after finalizing the purchase of solar city. Tesla is changing the concept of solar from a bulky roof accessory into a building material. Making economical sense to a consumer. If your putting up a new roof it makes mathematical sense to pay a little more for a roof with an infinite lifespan and the ability to produce electricity saving you money every month. The super strong glass panels are more durable than traditional roofing systems with the ability to power your home. Tesla car owners will be more inclined to purchase a system like this after getting an electric vehicle and seeing a larger utility bill.

After disrupting the Automotive and Solar industries Tesla is now going to disrupt the trucking industry. A Tesla Semi will be an electric drive vehicle with a battery and electric drive motors on each wheel. Additionally the trailer of the vehicle could store more batteries in the floor creating an ever longer range vehicle. We expect the vehicles to be autopilot enabled and be capable of full auntonomy when regulators allow it in the coming years. This feature alone could make fleet managers be more likely to consider purchasing a Tesla Semi Vs a Peterbilt. We anticipate the Tesla Semi to be AWD with the ability to have power to the trailer wheels. Early photos released by Elon Musk don't show any Mirrors on Tesla's Semi. This points to cameras and in cab monitor systems giving the driver a safer point of view eliminating blind spots. Tesla is not just a car company, Tesla is a Technology company disrupting industries the same way Amazon did to the retail business. At one point most people thought of Amazon as a bookstore but that was not the case the same will be said for Tesla soon.
