Amazon Travel
Jeff Bezos ultimate plan is to be the everything store, slowly but surely he will accomplish that goal. If Amazon entered the travel and vacation space it would wreak havoc on Priceline and others. Amazons low-cost reliability could benefit the consumer traveling. If Amazon offered cheaper rates for flights and hotel rooms consumers would flock to its service. This would be done to help expand Amazons ecosystem and keep consumers engaged trying to acquire every possible dollar from the consumer. Amazon could use this travel data along with and similar to your shopping account it does currently, Amazon could make recommendations if your a weekend getaway type person to a weeklong inclusive resort stay after just a few purchases. Jeff Bezos and his team could rethink the way we travel just like he changed the way we shop. Amazon has accomplished retail dominance it will only begin to move into more sectors like travel and leisure in order to fill its investors enormous appetite. I could not see myself buying Priceline or any travel service stocks knowing the possibility of what would happen to the stock upon the news of Amazon entering the space.
