MGM could acquire Revel to expand AC dominance

Speculation of a bid on the former Revel casino are bringing ideas of more growth to Atlantic City. The Hard Rock just purchased the former Trump Taj Mahal and intents to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to make it a modern competive casino to Borgata & Harrahs dominance. MGM has speculated about working with Caesars to expand Atlantic City already. An offer just north of 200 million dollars is speculated on the former Revel owned currently by Glenn Straub. He purchased the building for less than $100 Million before settling a power supply issue with a contractor for power the building. With those issues now resolved MGM is  a perfect suitor for the building. MGM should outbid other firms up north of $250 million. A fair price for it costing over 2 Billion to build. This is far less than it would cost MGM to build another hotel/casino. The Water Club expansion hotel tower cost $400 Million dollars to build so the same building today would be well over $500 million to build. MGM holds no property on the Atlantic City boardwalk and the MGM team would be able to refresh Revel into a top tier resort with low cost to entry.
